    When plugin active getting error in admin.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /var/sites/d/demo.ukwebsitedesigncompany.co.uk/public_html/mayfairnetworkingevents.com/wp-content/plugins/newsletters-lite/wp-mailinglist-plugin.php on line 2237

    This error indicates that you have a PHP version older than 5.4. The plugin requires PHP 5.4 or higher installed on the server/hosting.

    It shouldn’t activate with a lower PHP version and should give you a warning.

    Can you ask your hosting provider to upgrade PHP for you? Alternatively, I can suggest an older version of the plugin which will be compatible with PHP 5.4 or lower.
