Plugin active, but not showing up in dashboard.

So I downloaded this portfolio plugin. I installed it, and it showed up as “active” in the plugins. But as the ‘user guide’ says, it should show up in the dashboard. Nothing there.
I tried to deactivate/activate, log in/out, delete and install from the ‘add new’. Still says It’s active, but not showing up in dashboard. Any Idea why this is happening?
