Plugin Activation Error

    Running a brand new fresh install of WP 4.7 – No plugins installed except for WordPress Zero Spam ver 3.0.6. Running Twenty Seventeen theme, no posts or pages changed. All stock/default install and I when I activated WordPress Zero Spam, I received an error:

    The plugin generated 243 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

    I should note that I am running SSL as well. Site default URL is https://www.mydomain.com

    Same error message for me, but my installation is old and there are some other plugins installed. I run my website under HTTPS, too, and this could be the reason for the error.

    I have the same issue on a new up to date install.

    The plugin generated 266 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
