Plugin activation causing Fatal Error msg
-
Hello, we’ve used your plugin successfully on our client’s website for a few months – let’s call it “website-old.com”.
They just changed their main URL to reflect changes in company direction, let’s call it website-new.com.
We’ve migrated the entire site to the new domain with a new database name – just copied everything from the old database and renamed URL everywhere in the database. Everything is working fine EXCEPT the Accessibility Checker plugin.
When we try to activate the plugin we get a Fatal Error message:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Attempt to assign property “plugins” on bool in /u/a/accountname/www.website-new.com/wp-content/plugins/accessibility-checker/freemius/start.php:74 Stack trace: #0 /u/a/accountname/www.website-new.com/wp-content/plugins/accessibility-checker/accessibility-checker.php(37): require_once() #1 /u/a/accountname/www.website-new.com/wp-content/plugins/accessibility-checker/accessibility-checker.php(61): edac_fs() #2 /u/a/accountname/www.website-new.com/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php(2313): include_once(‘…’) #3 /u/a/accountname/www.website-new.com/wp-admin/plugins.php(192): plugin_sandbox_scrape() #4 {main} thrown in /u/a/accountname/www.website-new.com/wp-content/plugins/accessibility-checker/freemius/start.php on line 74
We tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling from the WP repository, but no luck – same issue.
Please advise because we really like this plugin!
