I tested your plugin on a couple of development sites and it works great. However, I have 2 active sites with several hundred to several thousand users. I think that is part of my problem. I can’t activate the plugin. It tries for several minutes and times out every time. I suspect that it is taking a long time because it is trying to add all the active users to the default newsletter group. Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

Yes, you’re correct. The plugin tries to add all the active users to the default newsletter group during the plugin activation and this must be the problem. I think, we will have to find an alternate method to import users rather than doing this in the plugin activation. I assure we will come up with a better solution for this in our next version itself. We are also open to hear your suggestions in this ??

As an immediate solution, I suggest you to increase “max_execution_time” in your PHP.ini file and try again.
