Plugin accepts non-strong passwords but users cannot login anymore

  • I have configured my site to accept only strong passwords. And it used to work just fine. However, all of a sudden, users can create non-strong passwords without getting any feedback. And then, when they try to log in with their new password, they get a critical error message.

    I’m guessing this is a bug since the last update of the plugin…

    Speelt dezelfde problematiek als je gebruik maakt van de standaard inlogpagina ?

    Ik weet niet of het ook op de standaard inlogpagina speelt, aangezien je op die pagina niet zelf een wachtwoord kunt aanmaken… De site maakt gebruik van Ultimate Member, en de custom inlogpagina geeft toegang tot het besloten deel van de website. Leden kunnen zelf een nieuw wachtwoord aanmaken en eerder kregen ze een melding wanneer dit wachtwoord niet sterk was. Nu lijkt ieder wachtwoord geaccepteerd te worden, maar ze kunnen niet meer inloggen.

    Het is een recent probleem dat zich schijnbaar pas voordoet sinds de laatste update van iThemes Security.
