• Although it worked for a short while, for some reason, our blog has stopped sending account approval messages by email to users after we have approved them. It doesn’t seem to matter whether we’ve designated them as authors, contributors or editors.

    The pending welcome message and admin notification message are both still working properly, so it doesn’t seem to be a problem with mail settings.

    What could be preventing the account approval messages from going out and how do we fix it? We surely don’t want to have to manually send a message to new users every time we approve them.
