Plugin abandoned?

    I was notified yesterday via Wordfence that this plugin may be abandoned as it hasn’t been updated in two years and hasn’t been tested on the last 3 major WP releases. Is this plugin still supported?

  • @toddhalfpenny I am still seeing this message: “This plugin has been closed as of January 31, 2020 and is not available for download. Reason: Security Issue.” Any updates?

    Suggestion: Remove this plugin and just install “Widget Shortcode” plugin. I was able to swap out and get the same features.

    Wordfence marked widgets on pages as being no longer supported in wordpress

    It still works (and in the upcoming release of WP too), and I’m busy on addressing the issues raised (apologies for delays but things are all a bit up in the air at the moment).
    I’m hoping to have an update submitted to WordPress next week.

    I was curious if there has been any progress made here with getting an update pushed so we can get this Wordfence “Plugin appears abandoned” notice to go away. Or if there is an ETA that I can give my client on this so I don’t have to try and find a replacement plugin (he does not like the warning and if there is no update soon, I may have to replace it).

    Hello all

    Sorry for such a delay with this. I fear I was overcome with stuff this year.

    I have submitted an updated plugin for re-review following making all the necessary changes to get it re-listed.

    Please be aware that the core plugin functionality remains working and stable, and has been tested across the WordPress version releases right up to v5.6.

    Apologies again for this taking so long… and I look forward to replying again once the plugin is through the www.remarpro.com review.
