Plug In won't activate

    Using the current plug in and noticed just the shortcode is showing up on the page now. On the backend (in WP) I see:

    Simple Calendar could not be activated.
    Required PHP Extension(s) not found: curl.
    Please update to meet Simple Calendar requirements.

    So I think maybe the plug in update requires CURL and I don’t have it? It was working great when installed a year ago, but I guess it was updated and now I have this glitch?
