Plug-in Upload via WP admin

    Hi

    I am trying to upload a plugin via the admin in WP, you know “go to plug-ins and press add new, locate the zip file, and then upload.
    Only problem is It is not allowing me to do this. I keep getting
    “The uploaded file could not be moved to /xxx/xxx/xxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads.”
    Ignore the x’s

    I have created a folder named ‘uploads’ and chmod it 777, and have done the same with the ‘wp-contents’.

    Any ideas as to why it is not allowing me to do this?
