• I keep getting ‘update failed: download failed. not found’ when trying to update plug-ins but plug-ins seem to update? I’ve deleted and re-installed plug-ins, i have re-installed wordpress but still get this error?

I am having the same issue on one of my sites.

I update a plugin (I’ve tried 3 so far) and I get the error message

update failed: download failed. not found

The plugin does update though. If I refresh the page it shows it at the new version.

The only abnormalities I can find is: ‘Page cache is not detected and the server response time is slow’

When I updated plugins via Dashboard > Updates > Select plugin > Update, instead of going to Plugins > ‘There is a new version of.. update now’ I managed to update the plugin (WP Forms Pro) successfully, but also went on to say this:

Updating [plug-in name], updated successfully. Disabling Maintenance mode… Some of your translations need updating. Sit tight for a few seconds while they are updated as well. Updating translations for Elementor Pro (en_ZA)… Download failed. Not Found. All updates have been completed.

So I’m thinking the issue is with Elementor. Will log a ticket there

Did they explain it by any chance? I’ve been getting this most of the month, and I’m getting tired of seeing it.
