Hi, I installed and ran the plug in and 20% way thru I deleted it as it looked like it stopped progressing with the backup.
    https://www.weclick.com.au

Now my website is running super slow.

i spoke with my webhost and they gave me this info:

“The reason it is running slowly is the backup plugin is maxing out your I/O resources

Unfortunately while the backup is running the site will be slow.

Stopping the backup should speed the site up”

but it is still running slowly even though I deleted the plug in.

    Please help

    Hi,

Deleting a plugin removes it from the filesystem; an ‘interesting’ artifact of how PHP can be set up on some systems is that there might still be an in-memory process from it still running.

The easiest thing to do is to ask your web host to kill the process.
