Hi Nazrul –
Thanks for the quick reply.
I’ve looked at what you suggested above, and changed the image portion to “Featured” image, so we will see if that works.
For the title, I already had “product Title” selected, so I don’t understand your directions? If I have “Product Title” already selected then shouldn’t it be pulling over the main title, and not a variation title?
I still question how this works.
If I am selling a pair of Diamond Earrings, and within that listing I have variation choices of “Pair A”, “Pair B”, etc., the title on my website would only have “Diamond Earrings” so why would your plug in “add” the variation choice to the title (i.e., Diamond Earrings – Pair A?) I’ve never seen an ecommerce website do that, so why would a plug in do this?
For the images – same thing…If I am selling four bowls, in four different colors, the title on my website would be: “Colored Bowls” and there would be a main image of the 4 bowls together. Why would your plug in add “Red Bowl” to the title, when it is only a variation choice? Your plug in would then also choose to show one of the variation images instead of the main image.
I’m not a programmer, but this seems pretty basic to me. The plug in should be pulling over main title and main images. If we want something other than that, then that could be a choice. We shouldn’t have to go thru all these steps to have basic functionality.
E-commerce websites do not show “separate” listings, when products have variations within them. There is always one listing with drop down choices inside the listing, for the variation choices. If I have listings with variations, I don’t want those variations to show as “separate” listings on Facebook, after the sync.
I will let you know if the featured image fix worked or not.
Thanks.
