Plug in not working

  • Hello, I installed and activated this plugin and tried customizing the “pin it” button, but it has not worked on my blog since the plugin was activated. My site is: https://meganbatesphotography.com/blog/

    I read through your “common issues” article and downloaded a plugin to clear its cache, but the rest is a bit overwhelming since I’m not sure where to start. Could you take a look at my site to see why the plugin is not working?

    Also, I’m running a 4.8 version of WordPress on a Showit Theme

    Hey @mbphoto,

    it doesn’t seem that the plugin is added to your website. Most likely the theme you’re using doesn’t use the standard wp_head and wp_footer actions. Unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do about that.

    Is there anything I can do to add the plugin? It’s downloaded and activated on my wp-admin page for my blog. I was recommended to use this plugin by another Showit user, so there has to be a way to make it work.

    Hi @mbphoto,

    if you’re not a developer, I don’t think you can do anything about it. Except changing themes maybe. Or if you’re using any minifying/caching plugins, try disabling them and see if the plugin starts working.
