Plug In not showing as available

  • Hi

    Version 2.6.2

    I have successfully installed a plugin on a Wpress on one domain.

    I have uploaded it to a second domain – same WP version – but its not visible in activate plug ins screen.

    I have removed and re-uploaded ..but still cant see it.

    Any ideas ?

  • Assuming you are uploading the plugin to wp-content/plugins, then check your file permissions.

    Note:
    wp-content/plugins/plugin_name folder is correct
    wp-content/plugins/plugin_name/plugin_name — that sub-sub folder is NOT correct!
