plug-in not picking up traffic

    I’ve had your plug-in for a week and the amount of traffic it registers dropped precipitously on 9/7. according to GA I had more than 500 visitors on each of the past 3 days. according to you i had 174, 3 and 1. have any idea what might be wrong?

    Sorry about that! I just checked your site and everything seems to be all fine. I see our snippet in there and it seems to running all fine when I visit. Do you still experience any issues with data compared to GA?

    It is picking up traffic but every day the numbers are much lower than GA’s. The pageviews are are lower by several hundred to more than 1,000. I don’t have bot traffic so I don’t know why there is such a difference.

    Hmm that sounds very weird. Pretty much every site using Plausible sees higher numbers with Plausible than with GA.

    I just checked your site again and everything is loading and tracking all fine.

    Could it be that your GA install is tracking things wrongly? I see you have the consent banner so could there be some issue with that perhaps? I’ve seen tracking issues happen on other sites before due to the consent banner and GA script not being integrated correctly.
