I would also like to mention that I have disabled each and every plug-in and tried to run this one and it still comes up with the same error code

    Hi there,

That error comes from Google to say that the Place ID is not correct. I tested your G+ profile page on our demo site and had no issues. You can see it live here: https://googleplacesreviews.wordimpress.com/sidebar-widget/

Here’s an animated GIF of how I configured the widget to display your Profile:

Hopefully that clarifies a bit. Let me know if you have further quesitons.

    Thank you for the help!

I looked at the fields that you showed me in the gif and noticed a very big difference between what I see in my widget from what you see in yours.

I do not have a “location place ID” or a “location” box. Nor does my “location lookup” automatically populate like yours does. Am I missing something?

Ok I did some tinkering and got it up and running! I am very happy with the plug-in but there is one thing I cannot seem to make happen.

I am trying to add the widget via page rather than placing it in a menu or footer. Is that only possible with the paid version of the plug-in? Or am I missing something…

Thanks for all your help ??

Glad to hear you got it up and running and that you’re enjoying it.

Adding it to a page or post would require the Shortcode, which yes, is only available in the Pro version.

If you’re enjoying Google Places Reviews and have appreciated our support, we’d love a kind review from you:
