[Plug-In: Magic Fields] Problems with Multi-line Text Field

I’m using Magic Fields to create a database of names, along with corresponding photos and a brief bio. For that Bio field, I’m using the multi-line text field. Problem is, it doesn’t seem to be cooperating with me.

I can copy and paste text into the field, but when I hit Update, that text will occasionally disappear. Or if I do get the text to stick, when I try to make subsequent edits, they’ll vanish after I hit update. Thinking that that might be because neither Visual nor HTML was selected in the text editor, I tried selecting both. No luck. But in doing so, I realized the HTML editor doesn’t seem to work. All I see is the Visual editor.

Any suggestions?

I’m using Chrome on a PC, if that helps.
