Plug In Link Missing from Left Side Bar in WP

    Just changed Theme on my site on a staging enviro – not sure when Connections disappeared from left side bar. Updated site now live, but no Connections link in sidebar. Tried deactivating/reactivating plug in on staging site, no change. If I go to Settings from Plug In page, it says “You are not allowed to access this page.” I have admin user level.

    Connections is functioning normally on site – just can’t get into manage data.

    WP 6.7, Connections Version 10.4.66, Tile Plus Version 4.1

    It sounds like another plugin has removed the WordPress capabilities used for permissions in Connections. Here’s a link to a FAQ which explains how to restore them:

    The FAQ is actually for an old plugin conflict, but the solution is the same.

    Thanks, Steven…. it worked. Not at first, but after I logged out – leaving the snippet activated – closed browser – logged back in – deactivated snippet. It then had my sidebar links back for Connections. I then deactivated Code Snippets plug in (but left it installed, in case I need it again).

    I never would have figured this out on my own. Thanks very much for the support!
