Plug-in for Approving posts on a multi-site

  • Hi, can anyone suggest a plugin in that will allow me to approve posts written by members of my multi-site, before they get published?

    I found one, but there has been no activity for four years, and so I am loathe to try it out.

    any help with other possibilities would be gratefully received!

    I’m sorry, but it looks like no one has so far been able to offer an alternative. Of course, a custom approval routine could be developed, but faced with the choice of that or an outdated plugin, the plugin might be at least worth a try. A well written plugin can age quite well. Naturally finding support should there be problems could be difficult. Correcting minor problems in an old plugin might still involve less time than developing a custom solution.

    Unless you have since found a better alternative, it doesn’t seem like there is much to lose in at least giving it a try, even if it is a far from an ideal situation. We should always seek out regularly maintained, well supported plugins, but that is not always possible. Just to be safe, make a full backup of your site before trying outdated plugins. Backups are always good to have anyway.

    If by chance you have found a better alternative, I hope you will share what you found ??
