• I believe due to an old plug-in the previous website creator had loaded, that the site I just updated crashed/stopped working. I can’t login or anything. This morning, the main page went blank. I fear that there could be a hacker that broke in and started changing passwords etc.

I was able to get to this login spot – https://crossfitpriorlake.com/wp-login.php however https://crossfitpriorlake.com/wp-admin/ goes to a blank screen.

I can’t FTP, can’t get to the WP Dashboard. So, feel like I’m dead in the water.

    Any suggestions/ideas?

The fix for this is through your hosting control panel. If you can’t access that, please contact your host. You need to disable the plugin “live-edit”, so navigate to wp-content/plugins/ and delete the directory “live-plugins”. That will get your site back.

The Live Edit plugin has been discontinued: “This plugin has been closed as of October 23, 2019 and is not available for download. This closure is permanent. Reason: Author Request.” so I suggest finding another if you need that functionality.

Yep, that’s exactly what I am planning on doing. I wasn’t the individual that setup the original site, so waiting for the creds from that person on the domain host.

    Thanks for the confirmation.
