[Plug In: Easy Recipe] Little black marks showing up and spacing issue

Hi,
I love this plugin. I’m working on a site for a friend who will be migrating an established food blog from blogger to WP.

The plugin is working (almost) perfectly.

This plug in is installed on the following posts:

I have the following questions/problems:

There is a small space before the title and recipe author. Any ideas on how to remove this?

There are little tiny black marks to the left of the bullet marks in the ingredients list, how do I remove these?

Ever since installing this plug in when I attempt to leave the post, even though I’ve saved it, I get a warning that it may not be saved.
