Plug-In does not work

  • I’m very disappointed with this plug-in. In theory it replaces the excellent, but abandoned plugin “Exclude Pages from Navigation” by Simon Wheatly.

    However, wheras THAT plugin still works with all teh themes I’ve tested, and with current WordPress versions, this plugin does not work at all.

    The support page for this plug-in is a sad list of people saying ‘plugin doesnt work’ and the author, although responsive, simply provides a custom workaround for people’s themes using CSS.

    That is NOT a fix. A workaround is not a solution. This is something that needs to be addressed in the plugin, and I am really hopeful it can be because this is functionality I use frequently.

    I have just tested the plugin on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of WordPress and default theme.

    Could you please tell me more details about your issue such as which theme are you using so that I can troubleshoot and resolve it?

    Yes as you have said, I have provided CSS solution for some users as the menu on their site was not created by theme following standard WordPress practices or customized the menu using walker causing following two WordPress hooks not to work which this plugin uses to remove pages from menu.
