Plug In Destroying My Site

I activated the plug in on my website, and when I did my whole website disappeared and a bunch of random symbols appeared. I have a picture I can send. When I deleted the plug in, my website was back up and running. Why is this happening? I want to use this plug in to speed up my very slow website!
