So I installed this plug-in yesterday and my nav menu drop-downs stopped working. Deactivated it and they work again. Any thoughts for resolving this conflict?

Also, i tried using the widget on a few blog pages and sometimes it makes the page shake non-stop, both in draft and live. can I fix that?

Also, will you be updating to work with the latest wordpress?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

And also,my floating share bar disappeared yesterday and back today, so I think there was a conflict there as well.

    Plugin Author GetYourGuide

    Dear FamiliesGo,

I am truly sorry for the very long delay in the response. For a time this plugin was not properly maintained.

However, this changes now! We will have an update ready to roll out very soon that addresses compatibility issues. Please understand though, that we cannot guarantee compatibility with every 3rd party plugin, as the variety of available plugins and themes is simply too large to do so.

In case the plugin does not work for you after the update, there is still the possibility to manually add the GetYourGuide Widget to your posts. This is much easier than it sounds, to do so please follow these steps:

    • Visit your Partner Portal Tools Page and choose your desired widget type
    • Generate the widget with your desired parameters in the menu
    • Copy the widget HTML code and paste it in a custom HTML block in your post
    • Copy the Java Script part of the widget and add it in the same or in a separate HTML block. (we recommend to do that at the very top of the post in which you want to add our widgets) It is very important that the script is only added once per post, otherwise it will not work!
    • One additional note: If you are using custom post types, the above is always the best way to integrate our widget, as you will not have to worry about the plugin code interfering with your custom post code.

I hope this information is helpful for you. Please let us know if you have additional questions. If you have urgent questions you can always reach out to our dedicated partner support via the Contact Form
