• I installed and activated a rating plu-in a few hours ago. When I went to my log-in screen I get this error message:Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/noelskit/public_html/wp-content/plugins/blogarate-rating-widget/blogarate.php:152) in /home/noelskit/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 865

I can do a google search and my posts come up just fine, however when I type my actual site address I get the about error message too.

How can I delete it, if I can’t get into my dashboard?

  • FTP into your site and rename (or delete) the wp-content/plugins/blogarate-rating-widget folder.

Thanks. Am I able to do this in my cpanel? Because I can’t even get to the log in page to log in and do that the regular way.

I did log into my cpanel and go to ftp manager. I don’t see an option to delete anything like that in there. If you’re meaning the log into where it my site address/wp-admin I get the same error message. I’m stuck.

You should be able to use the File Manager in cPanel.

I’m sorry. I just don’t know where to look once I’m in there. I opened file manager and there are a bunch of folders. I started clicking on each one but don’t see where I’m suppose to delete that plug in.

The blogarate-rating-widget folder which inside plugins folder inside the wp-content folder.

When I click on each folder icon, this is what I see on the right side of my screen:

    Eaxample:

    .cpanel

Delete this folder and all files under it
    Rename this folder
    Change Permissions
    Move this folder
    Copy this folder

It’s fixed. My theme designer fixed it for me. Thanks for your help.
