• Hello!

I’m experiencing an issue with the plug-in on my site’s header. It works beautifully in Chrome and Safari, but on Firefox and Edge it’s stretching the header’s height and width. It looks like in Firefox it’s being given a width somehow even though nothing should be in it.

This is present in the last version of Firefox.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @cazzy

Which version of the Java script have you chosen in the settings?

Version 1 is the version that stretches out my header on Firefox and Edge. I experimented with using Version 2, which didn’t stretch out my header but did have a tricky glitch where the module could break if you scrolled while it was flipping. I’d like to stick with Version 1, if possible, so I’m still interested in solving this issue.

    Thanks!

I didn’t know about the glitch when it scrolled. I’ll see if I can find a way to fix both problems.

Having a look now – and trying to replicate the problem on my own sites – and I don’t have any immediate answers. Do you see any error messages in the Console?

    Apologies for the delay.

There are no error messages when the module does the strange sizing issue thing. We have it running with 1 tweet currently and there’s no problem. This only happens during tweet switching and when the module is off screen. It looks for the width of the area it’s in and it gets 0px. Then it tries to draw itself in that tiny area. When you scroll back up to it the problem is visible. If you then keep the module on screen for the next tweet switch it will get the proper width and redraw properly. This occurs in the scroll up function for the module.

That’s intriguing. I’ll see what I can manage.

Could you copy what you’re seeing in the console into a reply?

    Hi Martin,

So sorry for the delay in response. I must have missed your earlier reply.

Here’s a screenshot of what I see in the console. I can’t upload pictures here so here’s it on Flickr:
