I am running 11.4.2 of this plug-in and have done so for a long time. However, when I updated to WordPress 6.1 today, it appears to have broken my site. I was getting a “page not found” error on every single page of the site. When I de-activted this plugin, the error went away and I was able to access pages without any problems. Is there a compatability issue with the plugin?

    Thanks!

I had the same issue so had to roll back to 6.0.3. Saw you updated the app yesterday so tried the upgrade again, works like a charm. Thank you for the quick fix!

Thanks @quirecleveland and @rosbiffer for feedback.

    Any news @markmacallister, @tneveu, @keeslamper?

    Hey Peter:

Thanks again for your hard work on this. TBH my response after this occurred, and after you indicated that you could not duplicate the issue, was to delete the plugin and implement a different solution. I was in a hurry to find a fix since my site was dead, so that was the route I took. I hope you understand.

    Thanks again!

Yes, it’s fixed! Thanks. So what was the problem?

Thank you @markmacallister and @tneveu for your feedback.

The reason was obvious that a certain event that my plugin is reacting to is now firing more frequently in WordPress 6.1 than in previous versions and the logic to determine the “right” event no longer worked.

Satisfied and marked topic as resolved.

    Regards,
    Peter
