Ploylang cannot be reinstalled

  • I was informed to update polylang. After doing that, the plugin was no longer be available. By trying to reinstal the plugin, there is an error message like:
    Plugin vcannot be installed because of a directoy allready exists.
    My site will no longer show the two languages it was setup to.

    While I didn’t got any feedback to my problem, I tried to solve it by my self.
    What I did:
    – deleting existing directory of polylang-plugin
    I was expecting to setup all details again
    – reinstall polylang

    Lucky to see that every thing is working properly now.
