  • when calling the gallery with <?php the_gallery(); ?> within my page i get the following sql-error:

    You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'COUNT(parent_collection) AS num_items FROM plogger_pictures GROUP BY pare' at line 1

    SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS COUNT(parent_collection) AS num_items FROM plogger_pictures GROUP BY parent_collection`

    any hints ?

    @solano– I can’t seem to get this to work from outside the plogger dir. I created a page with the 3 calls and it just dies on me. I can use the same page from within the plogger dir and it works (same, full absolute path). I tried editing gallery.php and changing the include to full path but still didn’t correct it.

    @olly
    I’m working on a plugin. If I can call plogger from another directory it will be finished ~75%

    @scaramanga
    What version of MySQL are you using?

    SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS appeared in MySQL 4.0.0. and right now Plogger doesn’t work with earlier versions.

    Any update on if any work is going on on the plugin?

    Really looking forward to Plogger, I can’t seem to use the plogger forums to suggest anything but I was wondering whether it can be prevented from showing the full res files each time. I don’t really want users to get access to my full images, plus the diskspace needed for all my photos will be huge. Perhaps an option could be included to manufacture the thumbnails and previews but discard the full-size image to reduce disk space requirements and protect my copyright to my pictures…?

    Can’t wait for v1.0 and a WP plugin!

    ??

    Plogger beta 2 is available and looks very good!: https://www.plogger.org

    The plugin for wordpress is still being worked on I guess, but you can try out the beta for now and give your opinions/feedback in the forum on that same site.

    Any updates on a WordPress/Plogger plugin tool yet?

    In case anyone is interested, Thyde is working on a new plugin called Plogger Press. We are talking about it on the Plogger forums:
    Plogger WordPress Plugin discussion

    So far it lets you add pics or albums to posts and random pics in the sidebar. It doesn’t have fully embedded gallery yet.

    Omigosh- do you know *how long* (4 years!) I’ve been looking/waiting for the ‘right’ gallery, and just found “Plogger” today? “Wow, that looks great! *Is it possible* that there is a WP plug-in for it too???”. I google, and here you are! Thank you for the update, add1sun!
