pll_set_post_language question

It’s strange. pll_set_post_language() is just a wrapper for wp_set_post_terms() whith the last parameter $append kept to false. See https://github.com/polylang/polylang/blob/3.0.4/include/translated-post.php#L57. So I expect that the previous language is always removed when a new language is assigned.

What’s true however is that this function does not update the translation group. So if the post is part of a translation group, it’s nececessary to update it with pll_save_post_translations() after the language has been changed.

Looks like an issue on my part. I was passing the full name rather than the code. I.e. Deutsch vs de.
