• I am trying to update the htaccess file so that the rss feeds will work with Permalinks on. When I try to allow it to be done automatically it gives the following warning-
Warning: fread(): Length parameter must be greater than 0. in /homepages/36/d107247456/htdocs/blog/wp-admin/templates.php on line 110
I can place the needed code in the htaccess file but didn’t want to do that before correcting the above. I can’t find the above code in the template, so I don’t understand what I need to do.
I would truly appreciate any assistance I could get with this issue.

  • When you’re on the Peramlink options page, did you put anything in the box labeled “Use the template tags above to create a virtual site structure:” before you clicked on the “Update Permalink Structure” button?

I would sure love to know what I am doing wrong so that I could get rss feeds. Can anyone help? : – (

Have you tried it without the index.php? You need mod_rewrite enabled for that to work.

    THANK YOU!
That was it exactly. I simply needed to upload the correct mod_rewrites into my htaccess.
    I truly appreciate the help!
