The friction of my clients to log in to my site with EDD, where they access to manage their purchases, has increased due to the famous email “Please verify a login attempt for your account on XXXX”

I’m going crazy and I can’t find a way to disable it for everyone.

It is also very confusing because the message is that the username or password is incorrect when in reality all it did was send an email with a link to verify access. Perhaps if only he were eloquent he would be more intuitive with less frustration.

Hi @vieraliv, thanks for reaching out.

With EDD (Easy Digital Downloads), there could be issues with Login Security elements if they have a custom login page or change the login flow for customers from that of the WordPress defaults.

Our reCAPTCHA and 2FA offerings only work with the default registration/login pages from WordPress and WooCommerce at this time so that could be a factor. Are you using any of these features and which user roles are they enabled for if so?

    Thanks,

    Peter.
