Please use a valid semantic versioning format

1.8.6.8.X is a major pain in the butt. That version number won’t be picked up by composer. If I specify version “1.8.6.8.1” it’s simply rejected as an invalid version string. The syntax “^1.8.6” is OK, but doesn’t pick up the “1.8.6.8.1” version instead falling back to “1.8.6.8”.
So please, there is absolutely no reason to use that many version delimiters. All it does is break tools which adhere to semver.
