I hear you Esmi – just to let you know I have written to Rachel about this and produced this plugin as an interim solution while she’s updating Font Awesome. It’s fine with me if you want to remove my post, however my understanding is that plugins are all about improving the experience for users. Rachel is in the process of updating her plugin, and several users have expressed the need for an immediate solution. As I see it, the options are to tell them about the plugin I created and help them, or to refrain from doing that which just seems like holding back a potential solution. This is all GPL, open-source, right? It’s not like I’m making money off of this ??
Would love to hear any additional thoughts you’ve got, as I think this is a really important topic/question.
Thanks for the feedback.
