Please tell me this won't auto annoy my subscribers?

I’ve spent the better half of the day trying to find a newsletter plugin that won’t auto send an email every time I create a post.
I need to make sure there is no auto annoy feature and that this will only send an email newsletter when I create it and click send.
Does it do that?
