• Okay so first I have to say, I haven’t tried this plugin yet. I’ve been using Tiny MCE Custom Styles by Tim Reeves. But I love the UI and it looks really easy to use so I’m actually going to install it after work and try it on my website. But I’m guessing it doesn’t work with Gutenberg, much like Reeve’s plugin. His works with the Classic Editor Block but not the default Paragraph block. And I think there’s a ton of opportunities for really awesome UI for adding custom styles within the Gutenberg editor. And there’s a ton of people clamoring for this feature. There’s multiple Github issues on the Gutenberg page begging for this feature. I’d even be willing to pay for a plugin that did this well. Please consider!

  • Hi Jackalope,

We did not test this plugin with Gutenberg yet. But you’re right, we should ??

I think we will check it with Gutenberg next week and estimate the efforts required to make it works. I will update this topic once we have some estimates or release dates.

Gutenberg is really cool, but still has lack of features and is not very stable. It’s not recommended to use it on production sites. That’s why we didn’t check compatibility of our plugins with it yet.

Unfortunately this plugin won’t help with Gutenberg paragraph elements at all. This plugin used to work with TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor and just enable some features of this editor. However there is a Classic Editor block, which I think can be patched to support as a standard editor.

Unfortunately we don’t have free developers for that work. You can contact our Sales managers to discuss pricing for this type of job if you need this feature earlier.
