please support client side search like WP Search with Algolia

    With WP Search with Algolia, we can choose Use Algolia with Instantsearch.js which enables us to search even when the site our sites is offline/generated static.

    Any plan to implement this feature?

    Hi Max,

    The plugin is already using Instantsearch.js as the final output for the result.
    So in theory it should be possible for the site to work even when offline.

    tested again, and can confirm it is not working offline.

    Apologies,

    My understanding of offline was that the server was down and a static html page was being displayed to users – in which case this implementation would work.

    But, if you mean there is no internet connection – then no the search interface will not work if there isn’t a valid internet connection.

    Can you provide me with example of where Algolia is implementing this ?
    I don’t see how it would be possible for search results to be displayed even if there is no internet connection.
