    I think that would be up to the individual sites and the advertisers they use. A note from a disgruntled user to the site owner often carries a lot of weight.

    It’s not something that bothers me either. I think it’s kind of cool to see a reminder pop up several days later about something I was looking at and then forgot.

    I do have empty pockets and a strong will so I’m not easily enticed to buy something… it helps keep me informed.

    It is not WordPress. It is most likely JetPack.
