Please STOP pushing the upgrade so hard

    “It’s time to upgrade your BackWPup to PRO version!”
    there is a Dismiss link.
    I press the dismiss link.
    Next time the page loads you say:
    “It’s time to upgrade your BackWPup to PRO version!”
    This is getting old.
    Please stop pushing the upgrade.
    If you only want to be a paid plugin then do that but you’re wasting my screen space and time. I may just Deactivate your plugin which means I’ll never consider upgrading in the future. No need for you to be so obnoxious about pushing your upgrades.

  • The nag is really annoying. There are several free WordPress plugins that do not nag you constantly about upgrading to a pro version. Dismissing the link does not seem to stop the nag prompt from showing up. It is a huge minus for an otherwise decent plugin. I will start looking for alternatives.

    As odd as it may sound, the repetitive appearance of that nag was sort of an accident we had immediately fixed on the fly. You can reinstall 3.1.1 and it’ll be gone. Additionally, 3.1.2 is on the way, yet might take another couple of days as we’re fixing another minor issue.
