Please Stop Changing Naming Convention

Believe me, I know the feeling.

The naming convention changes should be completed with the latest. The reason? We’re finally into compliance with WordPress coding standards.

I’m curious, would you still use this plugin if there was a surcharge for multiple site usage?

I only use the free one so far, I purchased the premium version and I just haven’t had a chance to install it yet I got it for the front end posting. For the most part I just use it for the rotator widget. I do pay for useful plugins that have features that I can’t do myself (or they do better, I mostly use my own silders anymore)so it would depend on the price. I usually feel better for pluigns that are a one off charge for unlimited use than plugins that I have to pay for each use because I use MS a lot to host client sites I have litterally hundreds of sites on their own servers and 4 MS install with around 20-50 sites on each one so installing a licence on each one would be a PIA ??

I’m thinking of a simple single-site and multi-site license model.

I’d like to keep things simple, but also realize that there’s a lot more support going on these days that takes away from normal paying work and I need to compensate for it.

Under the single/multi-site licensing model, what price points do you find fair for what this plugin provides?

Also, did you notice on the premium version that you can rotate other post types than testimonials-widget? If not, check the Testimonials Widget Premium page for the post_type option.

It’ll work as a simple slider for rotating things other than testimonials, review, portfolios, etc.

Yes I saw that, and I understand wanting to get paid for your work. I honestly don’t remember how much you sold the premium plugin for, but I think that a unlimited license for around $20 would be fair.

I pay more for plugins that are from a developer who has more variety ie WPMUDEV.org. I paid for their year subscription just for the volume of plugins they offer, so if you had other things that I needed I would likely pay more. To be fair I think that when you have more plugins then you would be justified in a higher price. But that is just my opinion :).
