Please shorten User field on logs, expand IP

Hello Brian,

Can you please let me know what the issue is? I do see the image but I am not sure what the question is. Please let us know.

The IP address column is very short so all the IPs get wrapped like

xx.xxx.xxx.
xx

Thanks for confirming. Due to the size required by other fields we have intentionally kept the IP address column small. I regret to say as of now we do not have plans to increase its width.

Hmm but usernames are rarely that large, wouldn’t it make sense to reduce that one a bit to make room for a slightly larger IP column?

Hello Brian,

The User field displays username as well as the email address of the registered user hence it’s kept large which already breaks into 2 lines. Hence we have styled this based on larger use case.

Ah well alright. Managed to fix it for now:

edited “/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/assets/css/admin.css” and changed the values there:

“#dlm_logs .column-user_ua{width:14%!important}#dlm_logs .column-date,#dlm_logs .column-user_ip{width:8%!important}”

I guess setting this to read-only and root user will prevent it from being updated.
