We have a message on our site that wont go away…

Congratulations! Analytify is now authenticated. Please select your website profile here to get started.

When we click here, in the profile dropdown all we see is an option of “()”, and no other options, though the stats seem to be working in analytify, im not sure what this is supposed to do or is stopping working, and there is no guide on how to fix this.

We have upgraded from the old version of the plugin, and it seems there is no way to rectify this issue. It is very frustrating. It is like this across most all sites on our portfolio that use this plugin, and we cannot remove, clear or save settings to fix this.

  • Hi @edzz83

Sorry, for the inconvenience. Have you created a new Google Analytics(GA4) profile?

Currently we have a single GA profiel account that has many accounts attached. it was created a long time ago, is there a different version here?

This account has actually hit its maximum number of assigned accounts (i think that’s 150 or so), so we may need to start a new one, is ther ea better way to do this?

What is GA4? is this a new profile setup from google? Do you have a guide here? Currently we appear to be connected to this profile, and the data is coming in correctly from the right site on the account, but the profile just shows blank and we get that message.

(i might be using the wrong terminologi here, profile i believe refers to the overarching user that can create or be assigned accounts is that correct? i feel like there is something new here i’m missing ior that we might need to upgrade)

Google Analytics has a 100 accounts limit, you can use Analytics 360 for more accounts.

The GA4 is the new Google Analytics version. If you register a new website within your Google Analytics account, make sure you read our guide before doing that:
    https://analytify.io/doc/how-to-integrate-analytify-with-google-analytics-4-ga4/

If you don’t follow the above guide the website profiles will not appear in the dropdown list in Analytify, but this case is only with GA4 not with old website profiles that you have created a long time ago as you have mentioned.

I would suggest you to re-authenticate your Google Analytics account:
In your dashboard go to Analytify > Settings > Authentication. Here press “Logout” and then after Authenticate again.
Make sure you use the same Google email address, while authenticating, as you have used for Google Analytics.

If the issue persists after that please contact us on our support channel with your site’s diagnostic information we will handle your issue from there.

    Cheers ?
