I’ve just tried to install the latest version of the plugin, with a fresh install of WP and I get the same error.

Can you confirm the full version number of the plugin you have installed, and the version number of WP in wp-includes/version.php?

Strange – I cannot reproduce this on a fresh install. Do you have any other sites you can test it on? Does it happen on all of them, or only some?

One other as well. Wait though, I will disable all other plugins and try. Maybe security is stopping it.

It does upload on drag and drop but then the ‘Select file’ in a white box with no button to select

What happens when you try an upload through the normal interface (i.e. without this plugin)? Is it an error that the file is too big, or something else? I’m suspecting that your site has a problem unrelated to the size of the plugin, and that both methods hit that problem.

I get the message Exceeds max size in php.ini. 2Mb

I uploaded it via the server and unzipped it and no problem. Just it is of course less hassle to do it within WP.
