    Please consider the following:

The option to “Remove from Wishlist” is best left on the wishlist page itself, not on the product pages.

Reason 1: the button becomes larger, which can mess up layouts, particularly on mobile
Reason 2: it goes against the idea of a wishlist in making it easy for item removal

If you want to make a conditional button, I would recommend changing the button to “View Wishlist” after an item is added. It won’t increase button size, and requires a deliberate step instead of an impulse to remove an item.

I can’t update the plugin until this is done and will abandon it if not done. At the very least it would be nice to have options.

Thank you… I really do like the plugin, so I hope you are open to changes

    Hello,

When we designed this button we put our best to make it as flexible as possible, so the user will be able to cover the most of his needs.

You can use the “Add to Wishlist” button with an icon that changes its state depending on a product is already in wishlist or not. In this case, you can leave the “Remove from Wishlist” Button Text the same as the “Add to Wishlist” Text or even leave it empty. This will greatly save space though the button functionality remains the same. Meanwhile, the user always knows whether the product in a wishlist or not.

In the next plugin update, we will also add the ability to enable this functionality optionally.

    Kind Regards,
    Konstantin.

    Hi,

We’ve just released the update with options for add to wishlist button behavior.

    Kind regards,
    Konstantin.

    Hello Konstantin

Love this plugin but could I make a suggestion regarding this?

Instead of ‘Remove from Wishlist’ on the button where the product is already on the wishlist, it would make more sense for it to say ‘View Wishlist’ and link to the wishlist page instead. This would eliminate the present procedure where the button still asks you to ‘Add item to Wishlist’ even when it’s already been added and the pop up informing you it’s already there :/ (which doesn’t have a link to the wishlist?)

‘Product added to Wishlist’ pop up message also doesn’t link to the wishlist page either, has this recently changed? Sure it used to. Where does the ‘View Wishlist’ text show up that you can set in the admin?

    Gem ??
