Please Review my first site

  • Hi all. I have just created my first website (ever!). I used WordPress which, as a newbie, I found easy to learn. Could anyone please take a look at my site and give me some feedback. It doesn’t matter if it is praise or criticism as long as it is constructive. As I said this is my very first attempt at a site. Site is: https://www.billhughes.co.uk

  • bill, your website is very awesome! using 2014 theme , the colours fit together and the simple layout is just simple . you can do many changes but step by step you learn . my own site was on 2014 theme for about 2 months , but now i moved it to another theme .. you can change the theme colours , and edit your header and do more pretty useful changes . luck to you and your site, add more content and activate some good plugins .. ??

    bill your website is looking great. put social sharing icons on your website either on top or bottom of the site.
    create a sitemap for your website.

    Congrats on your first WordPress website! I personally think it’s a little hard to ready the black on blue… I prefer a white background behind text, but that is just a personal preference, I guess…

    Your website is very nice try but you should try to add some new features to it for its betterment, since wordpress is offering it you should use it,
    -Try reducing font size of content a bit and dont make it bold..
    -if you are adding a quote that should be highlighted .
