Hello! Love and use this plugin. I have given my 5 star rating and review, however I continue to get the review nag. From a user perspective, this is kind of a slap in the face. In a future update, can you change to a more wordpress compliant way of asking for a review? On the settings page, and a nag that shows ONCE. Drives me crazy seeing this on every page… especially since I did give you a 5 star review ??

@lijitimit Thank you for the 5 star review and the donation!

A few people had mentioned before that the admin notices were annoying. I was genuinely confused about it because they are dismissible. They used to come back if you were to clear your cache or after a set period of time.

Then I changed it so that the notices are dismissible based on a value stored in the database, rather than cache.

There are two different notices. One for the rating and one for the message about not making this a paid plugin.

    I have two questions:
    1) Are you not able to dismiss them?
    2) If they appear once every month is that too invasive?

Once a month would be great! I understand wanting to have them in there, hey, it made me go review ??

I am able to dismiss, but as a webmaster, cache is cleared often, so it seems like I was seeing it on every page, all the time.

Hmm, I had moved it to using wordpress options table for storing dismissal over a month ago, so it shouldn’t have been relying on cache for quite some time.

Are you still seeing it on every page load after you dismiss?

Seems to be good now, haven’t seen it in a while. Thanks for listening!

Can you please consider removing all these nags? They are very confusing and annoying for my clients. Especially the most recent one with huge bold capital letters mentioning something about paid support.

@danielbenjamins As you’ve seen in this support post, the admin notices are dismissible. The one about feedback, I’ve gone ahead and updated it to be less bold.

The one asking for a review is critical to the promotion of this plugin. The more good reviews it has, the more likely people are to use it and spread the word about it, helping everyone.
