Your plugin is putting up a banner on my dashboard inviting me to install your plagiarism software plugin. This makes me want to give you a one-star review and delete every recommendation I have previously made for this plugin. So-called generative AI is intellectual property theft, pure and simple, and I don’t want to have anything to do with any company that jumps on that bandwagon. Please remove this ad.

Rather than provide a screenshot, how about I point you to the relevant lines of code? It’s in vendor_packages/wp-notice-plugin-promote.php, starting on line 15.

    Hello mate,

You can permanently dismiss the alert by clicking “Close,” which will prevent it from appearing again.

If you prefer a more technical approach, you can also remove or comment out the specific line of code in vendor_packages/wp-notice-plugin-promote.php within the plugin ZIP file, which will eliminate the notification entirely.

    Best regards.

I understand how to dismiss a notice. I object to your displaying the notice in the first place. I object to the product it advertises, on ethical grounds.
