Please recommend good hosting company

  • I have been using AN hosting for about 3 months and I have had a lot of server problems. Google webmaster tools keeps giving me “high response time” warnings and the rankings I was building I have totally lost. Who is the best? How easy is it to get things switched over?

  • I use Dreamhost and I would recommend them.

    dont go with the dreamhost. horrible support.

    any ideas where to host a wordpress blog that gets about 400k page views a month?

    I am extremely happy with Pair Networks https://www.pair.com/

    Excellent support, never had a problem with them, they can handle high volume.

    Who is the best?

    That depends on what you need. Pair, as mentioned above, is great for dedicated servers…I haven’t used their shared hosting, but I would imagine that is fine as well. Bluehost is great if you can live with their TOS…read it carefully, especially the parts about bad language. Liquidweb is excellent, but a little more expensive than most.

    Whatever you do, get a linux account and I would personally recommend getting an account with Cpanel…makes management infinitely simpler.

    I am on startlogic.com with unlimited and unlimited and my blog is already over 18 Gifs actually

    there are no such things as unlimited. especially in hosting. I dont believe in such hosts.
