    This plugin is now so popular that if I answered every support question I’d probably not get to see my family that much! 95 % of all questions are the same, so I wrote a comprehensive “support” page to answer them. Please read them before posting:

    To eliminate many errors, do the following:
    – Refresh your server side cache (e.g. WP Super Cache, WP Total Cache, Cloudflare)
    – Go to settings/permalinks and click “save”

    I do read all support requests but if you ask a question that is already in the user guide or FAQ, then I probably won’t reply. I’ve written this plugin and given it to you for free. What I ask in return is that you read the instructions first.

    If you do need to post a support question though I will be very happy to help you- in fact I usually reply the same day- but PLEASE POST YOUR URL! If you don’t it will probably be the first question I ask you.

    Here are some questions that I probably won’t answer:

    The cookie bar / banner doesn’t show
    – The problem is your theme: read more.
    – Still not working? I probably WILL reply in that case ??

    Clicking on the ‘privacy and cookies policy’ generates a 404 error.

    Can I translate the cookie bar? / How do I translate the cookie bar?
    Read more.

    Does the plugin block cookies?
    Can a visitor deny cookies?
    What does the cookie_delete short code do?
    Read more.

    The cookie bar doesn’t record ‘accept’ events / IP addresses
    – Correct: there is no point in doing so. Read more.

  • Hello there. Somehow the banner appears double in my site. If I put it on the header, I see two messages one under the other and if I put it on footer (like it is now), it seems to be fine but there are two banners one over the other so I need to click twice and close the first and the second one. Could you please take a look and help? I’d appreciate it! The url is https://www.ugly-duckling.it
